Why you chose your degree and other options
Question
Why did you decide on the degree programme you are now studying, and which other programmes or schools did you consider or apply to?
Short answer
Show a deliberate decision. Explain the criteria you used (subject strength, quantitative rigour, faculty, location, cost) and how your programme best met them, mentioning alternatives honestly without disparaging them. A strong answer connects the choice to a coherent path that leads naturally to this role.
