Membership and access terms

The access and billing information to read before choosing a SelfMadeQuant membership.

Updated

Free and member access

Public articles, glossary entries, programme guides and free tools can be read without a paid membership. A free account opens selected primer topics and interview practice. Full member lessons, projects and margin-answer allowances depend on the access shown in the product.

Use the curriculum, free tools and sample lesson to assess the format before paying. Material labelled planned or in development is not the same as a completed, available programme.

Prices and recurring billing

Prices are in US dollars. The current monthly plan is $99 per month and the annual plan is $948 billed yearly. The Founding Member plan is a one-time $1,999 payment, limited to 200 seats. Check the pricing section and the selected checkout for the offer and amount that apply to your purchase.

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew until cancelled. Recurring members can sign in, open Settings → Membership, and choose Manage billing and cancellation to review the subscription in Stripe’s customer portal. Check the confirmation there for when a change takes effect.

The published offer does not include change-of-mind refunds. This statement does not remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. For an access or billing problem, use Support.

Education and model limitations

SelfMadeQuant provides educational material, model outputs and historical research examples. They are not personalised investment advice, executable market quotes, a qualification or a promise of a job, trading profit or future investment performance.

Read the assumptions, units, data dates and limitations attached to a calculation or project. AI-generated margin answers can contain mistakes and need independent checking.

Accounts, source material and downloads

Keep your sign-in details and verification codes private. Source material, external websites and open-source repositories retain their own attribution and licence conditions; follow the terms attached to the particular item you use.

Entering an email for resource access does not create an account or subscribe you to a newsletter. The resource-access terms describe that separate flow, and the privacy notice explains account and activity data.

Corrections and help

If a page, tool or access step is incorrect, include the URL and the details needed to reproduce the problem through Support. The editorial standard explains how to evaluate the material and its sources.
