Python and Data Primer / Financial Data Access

Overview

A price must be read from the intended source and assigned the correct timestamp. This topic teaches paths, package isolation, API response checks and time indexes. It uses a local programme pack so you can practise without a paid data feed. Later Programmes add live services and production pipelines.

By the end of this note you should be able to run a script from a terminal, isolate its packages, interpret a read-only API response and construct a valid time-indexed dataset.
