What you’d work on
Our reading of the posting: what a new hire in this role would most likely spend their first months on.
- Study DEX, lending and derivatives protocols to find yield and pricing patterns
- Build and maintain Python models and research tooling for on-chain data
- Retrain and backtest models as new market data arrives
- Share findings with quant researchers and DeFi analysts and fold them into the wider research framework
What they ask for
Required
- Public blockchains and DeFi protocol knowledge
- Python with Pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn
- Machine learning and classification
- Time-series regression
- Stochastic calculus
- SQL
- Git

- Algorithmic trading background
- Rust
- Education
- BSc, MSc or PhD in maths, physics, computer science or another quantitative field

How to prepare
- Pull on-chain data for a DEX such as Uniswap and analyse liquidity, fees and impermanent loss
