Where do you see yourself five years from now? Has that picture changed since you began your degree, and if so, why?

Describe a realistic progression within the field (more responsibility, deeper expertise) tied to this firm. If your view changed during your studies, say so honestly and explain what you learned that redirected you; a reasoned change shows self-awareness. Avoid plans that imply leaving soon or that sound like you want the interviewer's job next year.
