Working alongside a hard-to-handle colleague
Question
Tell me how you deal with people who are difficult to work with.
Short answer
Use a short, concrete example structured as situation, action, result. Show that you try to understand the other person's priorities, keep the discussion about the work rather than personalities, communicate clearly and escalate only when needed. Interviewers want maturity, empathy and a focus on getting the job done, not a story about how bad the other person was.
