Who leads the Federal Reserve

Question

Who is the chair of the US Federal Reserve?

Short answer

Check the current holder before the interview, as it changes. The chair is nominated by the President, confirmed by the Senate for a four-year term, and leads the Board of Governors and the FOMC that sets US monetary policy. When the source book was written the chair was Ben Bernanke; knowing today's name and their recent policy stance shows you follow markets.
