Selling a company story to the firm's clients
Question
Suppose you are asked to present a particular company to the clients of the bank you would be joining. How would you structure that pitch?
Short answer
Lead with a crisp investment thesis, then back it up. Open with one or two sentences on why this company matters to this client now, support it with the business model, competitive position, key financials and valuation versus peers, and close with the main risks and a clear call to action. Interviewers want structure, client focus and honesty about downside, not a sales monologue.
