Rating your own appetite for risk
Question
On a scale from 1 to 10, how much of a risk taker are you? Back up your number with examples.
Short answer
Pick a moderate-to-high number that fits the role and justify it with evidence. Interviewers in trading want someone comfortable with risk but disciplined: a 6 to 8 supported by examples of calculated risks, plus a time you held back because the odds were poor, is usually more credible than an extreme score.
