Director – Non-Financial Risk Model Validation
A leadership role in the bank's independent model validation function, reviewing models used for financial crime, fraud, compliance and operational risk. It is heavy on AI and machine learning model risk and on running the India validation team.
What you’d work on
Our reading of the posting: what a new hire in this role would most likely spend their first months on.
- Lead independent validation of financial crime and fraud detection models
- Test model performance statistically, including stability, drift and fairness
- Assess AI and generative AI models for explainability and risk
- Write up findings and present them to senior committees
- Introduce better tooling to speed up validation work
What they ask for
Required
- About 10 years in model validation, development or quantitative risk
