Required
- Degree in maths, statistics, econometrics, financial engineering, OR, CS or physics
- Programming in at least one of C++, Java or Python
- Statistical rigour and scepticism about results
- Clear communication across regions
- Working well under pressure
- Familiarity with liquid non-equity instruments (futures, FX or cash treasuries)
- Experience with intraday bar data
- Education

How to prepare
- Build an intraday bar-data backtest for a futures contract with realistic costs
