Graduate Quantitative Researcher (2027 Start)
A graduate research role at a market maker, covering the whole research loop from framing a question to deploying a model. Machine learning is a core tool, and new joiners start with a structured onboarding academy.
What you’d work on
Our reading of the posting: what a new hire in this role would most likely spend their first months on.
- Build models for pricing, forecasting or signal discovery on market and order-flow data
- Test ideas quickly on large datasets and find out why they fail
- Watch live models and use their behaviour to refine assumptions
- Use deep learning and automated workflows to shorten research cycles
- Work with traders and engineers to understand how system limits affect results
What they ask for
Required
- Degree in engineering, physics, maths, econometrics or computer science
- Strong academic record
- Programming in any language, ideally Python
- Probability, calculus and linear algebra
- Quick learner
- Fluent English
Preferred
- C, C++ or Java
- Education
- Degree in engineering, physics, maths, econometrics, computer science or similar, with outstanding results.
