Five people numbered $1$ to $5$ sit around a round table with five seats. Person $2$ sits immediately to the right of person $5$, and person $4$ sits immediately to the right of person $2$. Person $1$ refuses to sit beside either $2$ or $5$. Who sits immediately to the left of person $5$?

Person $3$. Reading left to right the block is $5,2,4$, and the two remaining seats close the circle between $4$ and $5$. Person $1$ cannot be next to $5$, so $1$ sits beside $4$ and $3$ takes the seat beside $5$, on its left.
