Persuading colleagues to adopt your proposal
Question
Tell me about an occasion when you had to convince others to go along with an idea of yours.
Short answer
Use a STAR structure: the situation, the idea, how you persuaded people and the result. Interviewers look for evidence-based persuasion (data, prototypes), listening to objections and adapting the proposal, rather than winning by force. Note what you would do differently and how the outcome was measured.
